The Vice President for Finance and Administration division is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Website Specialist.
Established in 1804, OHIO University is the oldest public institution of higher learning in the state of Ohio & the first in the Northwest Territory. Located in the scenic Appalachian foothills, its classic residential campus in Athens, Ohio, is one of the most attractive in the nation.
The Website Specialist has primary responsibility for developing, managing, and maintaining the primary websites of the Division of Finance and Administration. The individual needs to possess a strong user understanding and demonstrated expertise in web content, usability, architecture, development and design.
This position is responsible for all technical areas of Finance & Administration communications including: creation of forms, standardization of documentation formats, maintenance of distribution lists and channels, and oversight of social media efforts (as needed).
This position is also responsible for providing strategic communications counsel to colleagues throughout the division, mentoring student employees, collaborating with colleagues, and participating on project teams. May include work on joint projects for the Vice President for Finance & Administration and Executive Vice President & Provost initiatives and announcements.
The Website Specialist will research, develop, and prepare website content, articles, emails/memos, scripts, talking points, and presentations.
Website Specialist will contribute stories and content to the Divisions monthly newsletter.
Work is developed within the brand guidelines established by University Communications & Marketing.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Communications, Digital Media, Interaction Design or related degree,and
at least one (1) year of applicable work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
